Terms and conditions are updated due to Covid 19. We will aim to accommodate every rescheduling or postponement that people need to make. We understand that it cannot be helped during this time. We also ask that you, as the customer, understand that deposits will not be refunded. Please bare this in mind before paying your deposit. Your deposit paid is based off the original order and if you need to downsize or cancel your order, this deposit covers admin costs, samples, pre ordering stock. It will not be refunded under any circumstance. We will happily move your deposit to a new date in 2020 or 2021. We will not move deposits to a new date past 2021. If you reschedule your date past 2021 we will require a new deposit to secure that date and we may have to adjust prices quoted originally due to inflation. Please remember when you pay your deposit we block out huge amount of hours to complete your order and if you cancel or postpone your order for that date, we may not be able to fill that gap leaving us out of pocket. If you availed of a discount we had previously offered, but have now reduced the value of your order under the required amount, the discount will no longer be valid. We will not transfer a wedding cake deposit onto a new order for a different occasion. Deposit must be made to secure your date. The deposit for every order is a minimum of €30. The deposit will be calculated up to 50% of the total cake order. A maximum of 50% deposit will be taken for special orders. All deposits are non-refundable.
Samples will be provided once deposit has been paid.
Full payment of balance is required two weeks prior to event. If full payment is not received, and no contact has been made by customer to explain why, then order will be cancelled. We will not contact you after this time. In some cases, balance can be paid on the day of event but this is subject to the discretion of Jenny’s Cupcakes and must be discussed a minimum of two weeks before the date of event.
All orders must be finalised two weeks prior to event. Details cannot be changed after this time. All orders are handmade therefore any imagery passed between Jenny’s Cupcakes and the customer are as reference only and final products may differ on the day of the event.
For specific requirements (exact lettering, ribbon/fondant colours, detailing) samples such as pictures, fabric etc must be provided. We will aim to match them exactly but customers need to understand that colours, details, styles will vary in different mediums. Fondant, even though it can be coloured to match, will change when exposed to air so the colours will not match 100%.
Delivery and set up is free of charge in Wexford town on all orders of €150 or over. Orders totalling less than this amount are subject to a small delivery/set up fee.
Delivery is subject to charge depending on the distance to venue.
Once an order has been delivered/set up at a venue or collected from our premises it is no longer our concern. We will not be liable for any damaged caused by staff members at wedding venues. You may wish to appoint a certain person to take delivery of your product. If not, the manager/planner of your event will sign for your delivery and we would appreciate your cooperation in letting them know this.
We will provide stands for cupcakes on a first come, first serve basis. These will only be loaned out once a deposit has been received. A deposit is required in case of damages/missing pieces. Any damages/missing pieces will be paid for with deposit and the remainder returned. If deposit does not cover the cost of the damages/missing pieces then the customer must pay for these damages in full. If we do not have a stand available, stands can be rented by a local company which can be arranged privately or through us.
Orders can be placed in person, by text, phone or email. All information received from the customer will be treated as private and confidential.
Refunds will only be issued if concerns are received in writing within 24 hours of the cakes leaving our premises and 100% of the cake is returned within those 24 hours. If the problem can be rectified then no refund will be offered. This can be done through text, Facebook message or email. All info on contact page.
Issues with wedding displays (cakes/Cupcakes) need to be brought to our attention within four hours of set up to allow issue to be fixed. If we are not alerted within this time frame we are not in a position to amend/replace or fix any issue with your display.
Refunds will not be made for wedding orders unless the brief has not been met by Jenny's Cupcakes.
Once delivery has been made to the venue, responsibility for stands, cakes, Cupcakes, desserts etc on display, will become the venues. If a member of the wedding party is not available to sign off on the wedding setup we aim to have the wedding coordinator sign on your behalf. We have had occasions where this has been refused so we do not accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused by the venue or their staff.
Records are maintained of issues/complaints made by any customer. We will not accept complaints from a third party. And will not record issues made by a third party.
If terms and conditions are not agreed to by all parties, order can be cancelled and full payment minus initial deposit refunded anytime up to 7 days before the date of the event.
